Welcome to our shiny new blog, where we will be posting about all things cake! We also plan to talk a lot more about ourselves, giving you a behind-the-scenes glimpse into our day-to-day activities, as well as our new collections, recipes and much, much more!
So, who are we?
We are a cupcakery based in Spinningfields, Manchester and also have a large concession slap-bang in the middle of Selfridges Food Hall in the Trafford Centre!
What do we bake?
Cupcakes: Where it all began; our speciality. From our daily signature cupcakes like the classic red velvet, to our special collections, celebrating seasonal holidays such as Easter, Halloween and Christmas, as well as our own fun creations, like our incredibly popular American Collection. We tailor our recipes to suit any dietary needs, including gluten free and vegan and if that wasn’t enough, we also have dog-friendly pupcakes, so nobody gets left out.
Cakes: Layer cakes and giant cupcakes are the perfect alternative to regular cupcakes and can be personalised to suit any occasion and taste. People love our signature rainbow cake by the slice, six delicious tiers of pure, mouth-watering bliss.
Brownies: Our brownies have been named in the top 12 in the UK by Delicious Magazine. Each indulgent flavour comes with a unique set of goodies; be it the soft, rich cookie base of the Ultimate, the beautiful buttercream layering of the Rainbow or the crunchy-surprise-in-every-bite of the seasonal Bark Brownies, there’s something for everyone!
And if that wasn’t enough…
We serve up truly quaint seasonal afternoon teas in our Spinningfields shop, which makes the perfect gift. Our bite-sized mini cupcakes and cupcake shaped sandwiches always put a smile on people’s faces.
We also host a range of baking and decorating classes to suit all ages and abilities, ensuring that everybody can have their cake and eat it too!
