Celebrating Success

This week, Hey Little Cupcake! attended an exciting event held by The Women’s Organisation, and came away with a brand new trophy to add to our collection!

Who is The Women’s Organisation?

The Women’s Organisation offers training and support, targeted towards women in the UK. Not only do their services reach locally across the North West, but they also deliver projects across the world. Their goal is to empower women and encourage them to reach their full potential in community life and the economy.

Excelerate Labs

The Women’s Organisation’s new programme, ‘Excelerate Labs’ aims to enable both men and women in the B2B sector to innovate, diversify and create new jobs within their businesses.

Recently, The Women’s Organisation’s Excelerate Labs Programme organised a Celebration of Success Award event, which took place at the beautiful Albert Chop House in Manchester City Centre.

Of course, we couldn’t attend without taking along a tower of mini cupcakes for the other guests to try!

The locally made trophies were laid out and presented between a delicious three course lunch. It was truly inspiring to be surrounded by such talented women from an array of different businesses.

Owner and director of Hey Little Cupcake!, Sarah Wilson-Gibbons was awarded a trophy for Excellence in Customer Service. Sarah was celebrated for her passion and drive, as well as starting her cupcakery with the bare minimum, and growing to own a unique business, which is now a leader in its field in the North West and has spread across a number of locations, including Selfridges in the Trafford Centre.

Sarah and her team are incredibly proud and will continue to supply the good people of Manchester with the sweet treats they deserve!
